Hosted by world-renowned chef Jacky Pluton, The Fairway Gourmet is a new lifestyle program catering to those who are passionate about the finest pleasures of life - from golf and cuisine, to wine and travel. In each half-hour segment, Jacky travels to the world's most stunning and revered golf venues where he plays - on and off the course. After a day on the golf course, he then visits the finest resorts, restaurants and attractions of the region, tasting the local flavor and cuisine and sharing its special pleasures.

A rich old gourmet that has decided to taste all there is of exotic meals has already tried the most, even human flesh, when he gets a tip from a rich midget. The midget had tasted everything out of this world, and even something not of this world. In other words, a ghost. The gourmet gets very interested and the midget gives him the info that is needed. And once he has found a haunted place, all he has to do is wait for the ghost to turn up so he can have the most exotic meal in his career as a feinschmecker.

The year 1944... The year of the victorious turning point in the WWII, but the Baltic theater of naval battles is still quiet. While performing a combat mission, torpedo boat commander Boris Shubin accidentally discovers a secret fairway of an unmarked German submarine. Unforeseen chance throws him on the "Flying Dutchman" and gives him the opportunity to open the veil of the strictest secrecy of the Third Reich, which surrounds her....

The Frugal Gourmet was an American cooking show that ran on PBS from 1983 to 1997 having gotten its start in 1973 on KTPS-TV in Tacoma, WA as Cooking Fish Creatively. It was hosted by Jeff Smith, an ordained Methodist minister and a professor at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma. Smith would remind his audience that frugal doesn't mean cheap. It means that you don't waste money. And gourmet means loving good food and wine.
